A leader who had no title-4

After reading all 3 series, here comes the last one.  The series reminded us leadership in us. Read the last one, and this is absolutely my favorite principle. If you missed other principles you can check them via below links. Read principle number one  here Read principle number two  here Read principle number three  here  4. TO BE A GREAT LEADER, FIRST BECOME A GREAT PERSON When I started reading about this fourth and the last principle of lead without a title philosophy, I remembered when I was in secondary school, there was this academic prefect who was not performing very well in class. As the responsibility of an academic prefect, one has a duty of ensuring that every student adheres to the night preparation time. The funny thing is, there were some of his classmates who used to sleep during prep time, and whenever he found them, he would tell them "hey guys, how come you are sleeping while you should have been studying now?". To his surprise, some of them...

A leader who had no title-3

Hi there, my awesome reader and visitor of my knowledgeable blog, thank you for being part of this amazing series of book review, of the book titled "A leader who had no title" which has been shared by David Joseph, If you missed the first two principles, then click  here  to read first principle, and  here  to read second principle. Enjoy the third principle as shared by David . And this time around David sounded rude sometime 😂, please don't take words personal!!  3. THE DEEPER YOUR RELATIONSHIPS, THE STRONGER YOUR LEADERSHIP Ladies and gentlemen, I have to say this to you all. Leaders are humans, not angels. And  they do lead people, not machines. For the matter of fact, being a leader does not exclude you from being a human. This sense of humor separates great leaders and mediocracy. Ooh yes, I said it, mediocracy !!! It sounds offensive isn't it? Maybe it does, I'm sorry anyway!! As a leader, and a person, you will have to relate strongly with people ...

And this has come after first segment of our book review called "A leader who had no title". You can check it  here  Let's now see what has been brought by the beautiful mind of our dear friend, David. He is on this principle again. 2. TURBULENT TIMES BUILD GREAT LEADERS Back in the days, when I was a kid, I used to love playing with butterflies.  I was really in love with these beautiful creatures to the extent of spending the whole day watching them as they mingled around nature, no wonder I am still craving for flowers up to this day. I remember one day, I saw a caterpillar shedding its cocoon. But it seemed to be having trouble without making any progress. In an effort to be helpful to the caterpillar potentiated with the curiosity to see a new butterfly formed out of nowhere, I took my pen-knife and cut off the remaining pieces of the cocoon. To my surprise, rather than emerging as a precious butterfly, the caterpillar died. I was very sorry, and I felt guilt. I late...

He should sweep streets so well that all the hosts of heaven and earth will pause to say, “Here lived a great street sweeper who did his job well.” —DR. MARTIN LUTHER KING J As the world changes the pace of its uncertainties, people should also change the way they define leadership. Leadership isn...
