So what can I do to improve myself?

Self improvement has the positive impact on mental health, when you work on yourself, you get to know yourself better which let's you deal with your thoughts and emotions effectively.
But also, through self improvement activities, it can lead to self awareness, self knowledge, improve skills or learning new ones. Self esteem, improving career and potentials.
It is not easy task, but it is possible once you decide. It needs your consistency, commitment and hunger to be a better person. It is a progress.
Self-improvement isn't selfish at all. The hard work of fighting for what's right for you includes the hard work of mastering yourself and taking good care of yourself. It's not selfish to spend time improving yourself, even as the world screams for help. In order to be there for each other, we have to first be there for ourselves.
